  • Introduction to Primary Health Care

  • Introduction to Ottawa Charter and a Framework for analysis different approaches of HE/P

  • Gender, health and development

  • Communication styles and theory

  • Presentation skills

  • Group dynamics and formulation of ground rules for the course

  • Key concepts in health promotion

Introduction to how to design a training course

Assessment :

Written exams 30%, Written assignments 20%, Written tests 10% Individual Project 40%

  • Models of planning and frame work for analysis health education and promotion approaches.

  • Workshop on development of information, education and communication material.

  • Development of counseling skills

  • Self help groups

  • Field practice: developing an implementation plan
